It's a success! Mom had me pick up some paperwork from her doc today,
so I went over tonight to deliver paperwork and packed Pinky - just in case.
Dad mentioned that she'd had a rough day, and it might be a good idea to cheer her up.
So we turned her frown upside down by leaving her new accessory out against the table.
When she seen it, she ran right over and scooped it up, laughing and asked where we found it.
I shrugged and told her it just flew up from FL.
We showed her the website so she could witness the birth of her baby and she was amazed.
She's offered to let me take her photo with the cane for your site, but she wants to model with her flamingo pjs and her cane.
She said tonight this was the best gift she's ever gotten.
You'll probably be getting an email from her, she's now plotting her own surprise for her best friend.
I have to say, the entire family has been camped out on your site since we started this, watching this transform,
it has been an amazing process and I'll be advertising your work to everyone.

I keep forgetting to ask you at the library, so will give this thing a shot. I've talked to sellers
of pre-drilled briar blocks (pipe 'blanks'). Are you willing to tackle carving a St. Bernard's head on one? Before
you answer, I'm told that brier is a very hard wood. Answer: Sure Tom. I love a challenge. I enjoy
carving the pine knots, but they are so hard I have to use my Dremel tools on them. It can't be too much harder than that!
